I found a fly in my drink.
C told me to take it out and dry it. I took it out to dry, and it was alive. I put it on my hand.
It did not fly away.
After 20 minutes, I thought about the possibility of the fly never leaving me, and I became nervous. I told C, and they offered to take the fly away. C took the fly, and tipped it into a hand-shaped dish full of nails.
I'd left the fly in a dish of nails. Was this cruel? I asked C. C said that it was not cruel. I looked away from the fly, I looked back.
